It is an offence for you or your staff to sell spray paint to a person under the age of 16 years.

If you sell spray paints, you must display a notice in your shop that states “It is illegal to sell a spray paint device to anyone under the age of 16."

You should also keep a record of all the occasions that you and your staff refuse a sale. Download a refusal form.
