How we use your information
Aberdeen City Council is collecting this information from you for the purpose of processing your entry for the Spectra Hidden Butterfly Trail competition prize draw, and for contacting you in the event you are the lucky winner!
The event is on from the 8th to 11th of February 2024.
If you change your mind about entering the competition prize draw, please contact us at TransportStrategy@aberdeencity.gov.uk and we will delete your information. Please be aware that if you change your mind before the competition closing date for entries of 12th February 2024, you will no longer be entered in the competition.
How long will we keep your information
We will keep your information for one month from the competition prize draw. The closing date for entries to be submitted is Monday 12th February 2024. The prize draw will take place on Tuesday 13th February 2024.

You have rights to your data, including the right to ask for a copy of it. Our legal basis
Aberdeen City Council is the Data Controller for your information. Whenever the Council processes personal data, we need to make sure we have a legal basis for doing so in data protection law. The Council understands our legal basis for processing personal data in relation to the Spectra Hidden Butterfly Trail competition as part of our public task under Section 20 of the Local Government in Scotland Act 2003 to promote or improve the wellbeing for persons and the area.
