How we use your information

If you contact us with an enquiry about how the lifting of temporary controls for outdoor seating at pubs and restaurants will affect you or your business, we will use your personal information to process your enquiry and advise you what you need to do next. 

If you do need to make an application for planning permission, a street occupation/pavement café permit, a building warrant or licence we will let you know why and how we use your data when you make that application.

 

How long we keep your information for

We will keep the information relating to your enquiry for 2 years from when your enquiry is closed. 

 

Your rights

You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office. That is the body responsible for making sure organisations like the Council handle your data properly.
