Your data: Child Friendly City Youth Participation Network

How we use your information

Community Planning is a way of working which means public bodies work together with communities to plan and provide better public services. Together these public bodies form a community planning partnership (CPP). In Aberdeen the CPP is called Community Planning Aberdeen (CPA).

CPA is committed to achieving Unicef Child Friendly City (CFC) accreditation. Community Planning Aberdeen wishes to share information with members of the public/community groups and organisations on Child Friendly City and how they can get more involved with the work to achieve CFC and share the outcomes of participation with children and young people so that we’re collaborating. We intend on doing this by email, on the CPA website and social media.

If you register for the CFC Network, we will use your contact details to send you information. You can opt to receive this information by email, Twitter and/or Facebook.

If you choose to receive information by email, we will use your email address to send you information. Your email address will not be visible to other recipients.

If you choose Twitter and/or Facebook, we will use your username to follow you so you can follow us back and keep up to date with communications.

You can change your mind about receiving the updates at any time. If you no longer wish to receive community updates you can let us know by emailing communityplanning@aberdeencity.gov.uk and we will remove you from the mailing list. If you follow us on Facebook or Twitter and you change your mind, please unfollow us and send us an email to the above address so that we can unfollow you too.

How long we keep your information

We will keep your contact details for as long as you would like to keep receiving Child Friendly City Youth Participation updates.
