We use your information to process your application and make ABZ Works Training Allowance payments to you.
Who we share information with
We may share this information with other public bodies (as well as receive information from these other bodies) for fraud checking purposes. We are also legally obliged to share certain data with other public bodies, such as HMRC and will do so where the law requires this.
As we are administering this allowance using Scottish Government funding through the Young Person’s Guarantee, we will be required to share statistical information with the Scottish Government. You cannot be identified from this information.
How long we keep your information for
We will keep your application for 6 years after you stop receiving the training allowance. We will keep records of the payments made to you for the current financial year plus 6 years.
We will keep statistical information for 6 years. You will not be identifiable from this information.

Aberdeen City Council is the Data Controller for this information about you. Wherever the Council processes personal data we need to make sure we have a legal basis for doing so in data protection law.
