Aberdeen Planning Guidance and Supplementary Guidance 2023
The following Aberdeen Planning Guidance and Supplementary Guidance were adopted as Interim Planning Advice on 19 June 2023 following the adoption of the Aberdeen Local Development Plan 2023. Previous Supplementary Guidance 2017 has now fallen, does not form part of the development plan and will not be used in the determination of planning applications.
We are currently reviewing comments received to the public consultation on the draft documents. Further information will follow in due course.
For information purposes we carried out a high level comparison of the extant Supplementary Guidance 2017 to the new draft Aberdeen Planning Guidance and draft Supplementary Guidance and noted the changes in the following document.

Consultation on draft Aberdeen Supplementary Guidance and draft Aberdeen Planning Guidance covered the period Friday 24 February until Friday 21 April 2023.
This suite of documents will sit alongside the Aberdeen Local Development Plan 2023 and provide more detailed information on its policies and sites.
