How we use your information

Thank you for responding to this questionnaire. As partners of Community Planning Aberdeen (CPA), it is important that we map the existing supports available, understand the current data sources, and understand our collective data needs going forward in order to inform the design the blueprint for our Family Support Model.

So that we can understand which partners have responded we are asking you to tell us the name of your organisation and your job role. We are keen to build a network of the subject matter experts from across Community Planning Aberdeen, so if you choose to enter your name and email address we will use this to keep in touch with you about the design of the blueprint and how you can support this work. If at any point in the future it is no longer appropriate for us to be contacting you in relation to this work, please let us know by emailing amacquarrie@berdeencity.gov.uk.

Who we share information with

The analysis will be used to inform the design of the blueprint and accompanying report which will be shared with the Multi Agency Transformation Management Group.

How long we keep your information

We will keep a copy of your response for 1 year from completion of the analysis. The analysis will be kept for 1 year and will not include your personal information. The blueprint and accompanying report will be kept permanently.

If you choose to give us your email address, we will keep this until you ask us not to.

Your rights 

You have rights to your data, including the right to ask for a copy of it. See more information about all the rights you have including the contact details for the Council’s Data Protection Officer. You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office. They are the body responsible for making sure organisations like the Council handle your data properly. 

Our legal basis 

Aberdeen City Council is the Data Controller for this information. Wherever the Council processes personal data, we need to make sure we have a legal basis for doing so in data protection law. The Council understands our legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of the official authority vested in the Council.
