Study Spaces

From Tuesday 17 August, Aberdeen City Libraries are able to offer a limited number of library study spaces for booking in line with Covid-19 safety restrictions.  

You can book study spaces at the following libraries; Central Library (Information Centre), Airyhall Library, Bridge of Don Library, Cove Library, Culter Library, Dyce Library, Mastrick Library and Tillydrone Library.

 

To Book A Study Space

Study space sessions can be booked up to seven days in advance. Users are limited to one (two hour) study session booking per day.

 

Study Space Booking Guidance

To ensure compliance with Covid-19 safety restrictions, you will be required to wear a face mask (exemptions apply) and observe physical distancing while in the library. Library furniture may not be moved during your visit. Library staff will clean the study space area between sessions. 

Please note if you arrive after 20 minutes of your booking start time then your study space may be offered to others.

If you leave the library during your study space booking, please take your belongings with you.

There may not be a power socket available at your study space. If you are bringing a laptop or other device, please ensure they are charged in advance of your visit. 

Apart from bottled water, food and hot/cold drinks are not permitted in the study area. 

Free Wi-Fi is available. 

Public toilet facilities are accessible where available. Please contact your local library by phone in advance of your visit to check availability.
