Our recruitment process has the following stages:

  1. Vacancy advertised and open to applications through myjobscotland.
  2. Recruiting panel shortlist applications against the criteria detailed in the job profile.
  3. Shortlisted applicants invited to interview, unsuccessful applicants notified via email.
  4. Preferred candidate for the post is identified, unsuccessful applicants notified via email or phone.
  5. Pre-employment checks undertaken for preferred candidate. 
  6. Formal offer of employment made (on basis of satisfactory pre-employment checks).
  7. Person starts in post.
