General Election 2019: information for candidates and agents

Postal vote opening sessions

Postal vote opening sessions will take place on weekdays from Wednesday 4 December to Thursday 12 December, starting at 9am.

From Wednesday 4 December to Wednesday 11 December, the sessions will take place in Committee Rooms 2 and 3, Town House, Broad Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1FY.

On polling day, Thursday 12 December, the postal vote opening session will take place in Meeting Room 7, P&J Live, East Burn Road, Stoneywood, Aberdeen, AB21 9FX.

You can download the documents in the nomination pack and other information for candidates and agents below. Please take time to look through these documents and contact us if you have any questions.

Nomination papers must be returned by 4pm on Thursday 14 November 2019. You can deliver them to the Returning Officer at the address below on any weekday between 10am and 4pm.
