Project CAELUS is an innovative UK Project, with AGS (Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton) Airports working in partnership with NHS Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service, NATS, Arup and the University of Strathclyde.
The project aims to consider the potential benefits and challenges of using drones to deliver medical supplies for use in supporting emergency, urgent and routine care throughout Scotland. Using drones for this is not currently commonplace and one of the key challenges is in understanding the potential noise disturbances caused by drones.
Two sound demonstration surveys have been developed by Project CAELUS to understand people's perception of the sound experienced from drones when they are used to deliver medical supplies and will help provide insight into how people perceive and respond to the sound of drones providing healthcare services so that the risks of noise disturbances can be reduced.
You can complete the Overflight Sound Demonstrations survey and Manoeuvre Sound Demonstration survey online.
