This e-module was developed by the organisation Care and Learning Alliance (CALA) - the materials in this e-module are designed to support practitioners who come across adults who may be substance misusing. Whilst some staff roles will involve regular contact with families where substance misuse is an issue, for others it will be less frequent. None the less, it is important to be aware of the potential impact on children and young people when it does occur. This e-module will look at both drug and alcohol misuse and what we can do to support children and families.
This e-module is aimed at those wishing to increase their basic level of awareness and understanding of parental substance misuse.
