Safe and Together Overview Training - In Person

This one-day training is a practical introduction to the Safe & Together™ Model. It’s designed to give you a solid grounding in domestic abuse-informed practice, with a focus on key themes like understanding perpetrator patterns, improving documentation and recognising the strengths of survivors in a more holistic way.
Who is it for?
This session is useful for any professional who may come into contract with individuals affected by domestic abuse, whether that's an adult survivor, a child or a perpetrator. It is suitable for frontline staff, senior managers and those in strategic roles, offering a broad understanding of the core principles of the model.
What we’ll cover:
- The core principles of the Safe and Together Model and how they apply to everyday practice
- How focussing on perpetrator patterns, rather than survivor's choices, leads to better outcomes for children and families
- How to improve documentation and assessment so they reflect the full picture
By the end of the day you'll:
- Have a better understanding of domestic-abuse informed practice
- Feel more confident describing perpetrator patterns and their impact on children and families
