Multi Agency Training

*This training is for professionals working in Aberdeen City*

During this multi agency training session we will define domestic abuse and discuss the impact it can have on children and young people. We will discuss how to support a family experiencing domestic abuse and look in detail at the Safe and Together model before moving on to discuss key legislation and guidance.

The aims of this training course are:

To increase professionals overall awareness of domestic abuse and the varied ways in which it can happen.

To increase professionals understanding of the impact domestic abuse has on the ‘non-offending parent’, children and young people.

To provide information which will aid professionals in supporting families and children affected by domestic abuse.

Training will take place via MS Teams.
