How we use your information
Aberdeen City Council collects this information to register your organisation on Aberdeen City Warm Spaces Directory which will be hosted on Aberdeen City Council’s website. We will use the contact details you provide to keep the information about your organisation up to date, and to send updates from time to time on Warm Space developments and Cost of Living initiatives that may be of interest your organisation.
You can email warmspace@aberdeencity.gov.uk at any time to update your details.
How long we keep your information for
We will keep this information for as long as you wish to continue to be included in the Warm Spaces Directory. Entries in the directory are updated every twelve months; where we are unable to obtain an update for an entry by two months past this date, we will delete the entry.
Your rights
You have rights in relation to your data, including the right to ask for a copy of it. See more information about the rights you have, as well as the contact details for the Council’s Data Protection Officer. You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you think we have not handled your data properly.
Our legal basis
Aberdeen City Council is the Data Controller for your information. Wherever the Council processes your data, we need to make sure we have a legal basis for doing so in data protection law. The Council understands our legal basis for processing your data for inclusion in the Warm Spaces Directory as being part of our public task under the Local Government in Scotland Act 2003, section 20.
