How we use your information
Aberdeen City Council will use the information, provided by you on our online platform Commonplace, for the purpose of processing your entry for the Hidden Lego Minifigure Trail competition prize draw.
The event will run from the 12th - 27th October 2024 and the winners will be drawn on the 31st October 2024. We will only use your information to contact you in the event you are one of the lucky winners!
You do not need to enter the competition to take part in the Hidden Lego Minifigure Trail.
How long will we keep your information
We will keep your information for one month from the competition prize draw date on the 31st October 2024.

You have rights to your data, including the right to ask for a copy of it. You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office. They are the body responsible for making sure organisations like the Council handle your data lawfully.
Our Legal Basis
Aberdeen City Council is the Data Controller for your information. Whenever the Council processes personal data, we need to make sure we have a legal basis for doing so in data protection law. The Council understands our legal basis for processing personal data as part of our public task under Section 20 of the Local Government in Scotland Act 2003, to promote or improve the wellbeing for the area and persons who live there.
