How we use your information
Aberdeen City Council collects personal information about you in the Aberdeen in Bloom Garden Competition Application Form in order to arrange to view your garden, allotment or premises for judging purposes. Aberdeen City Council also uses these details to inform successful prize winners about the Competition awards ceremony and to send prizes to individuals.
Within the Council, this information will be shared with the Council’s Contact Centre and the Customer Experience Section who will process the application forms.

How long we’ll keep your information for
We will keep your information for 1 year.
You have rights in relation to your data, including the right to ask for a copy of it. You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think we haven’t handled your data properly.
