Apply for or renew a parking permit

You are entitled to a parking permit if your usual place of residence or your business is within a controlled parking zone. To find out if you are entitled to a parking permit and which zone you are in, please download the Permit Entitlement List. To see which streets a permit allows you to park on please download the Permit Street List.

Zones A to G are entitled to a single Fixed permit. All other Zones are entitled to two permits, of which one or both may be Fixed and one may be Flexible. Residents within a zone may also purchase parking vouchers which can be used in any car.

Business parking permits

Submit your application, relevant documents and payment by post or in person at the Marischal College Customer Service Centre.

You can renew your parking permit online if your address and vehicle details have not changed since your last permit was issued. It can take up to 10 days for your permit to arrive. A grace period of 10 days will be allowed should your new permit not arrive before your current permit expiry date.

Please note, you can only renew a permit up to 20 days before or 10 days after the expiry date. If it is more than 10 days since your permit expired you will need to apply for a new permit, rather than renewal.
