Charges

The table below sets out the weekly rental charges for 2023/24. These charges apply to both Council tenants and non-tenants. The charges are subject to change each financial year.

No VAT is added to charges for tenants who live within 0.25 miles of the address. 

How garages and parking spaces are allocated 

Allocations are made from the waiting list. Group A has the highest priority through to Group K with the lowest. Within groups, we make offers to those who have been waiting the longest.

We cannot allocate a garage or parking space to an applicant/partner who does not own a car, or to an applicant with a company car which is not used for domestic purposes.

Group A

  • Aberdeen City Council (ACC) tenant living in a block/housing development (with specifically designated spaces, e.g. Denburn Court, Linksfield Court) with no other parking space or requiring a transfer.

Group B

  • ACC tenant living in the area (with no other lock-up/parking space) or requiring a transfer.

Group C

  • Applicant, who is not a current ACC tenant, living in the area (with no other lock-up/parking space) or requiring a transfer.

Group D

  • Motorbike owner living in the area.

Group E

  • Out of area applicant, ACC tenant (with no other lock-up/parking space) or requiring a transfer.

Group F

  • Out of area applicant, non-ACC tenant (with no other lock-up/parking space) and all out of area motorbike owners, or requiring a transfer.

Group G

  • Applicant who lives outwith Aberdeen City.

Group H

  • ACC tenant living in the area who requires a second lock-up/parking space.

Group I

  • Non-ACC tenant living in the area who requires a second lock-up/parking space.

Group J

  • Out of area applicant, ACC tenant who requires a second lock-up/parking space. 

Group K

  • Out of area applicant, Non-ACC tenant who requires a second lock-up/parking space

Group L

  • Business rental
