The Masterplanning, Design and Conservation Team provides strategic co-ordination of masterplans, design advice, specialist conservation advice and graphic and technical services for Planning and Sustainable Development and the City Council.
Draft Greenferns Development Framework
The consultation is now closed and the results of the Draft Greenferns Development Framework consultation will be presented to Council on 11 December 2017.
Draft Rosemount and Westburn CACA
The draft Rosemount and Westburn Conservation Area Character Appraisal consultation ran from 10 January till 20 February 2017. The details of the consultation can be accessed via the following link:
St. Peter's Nursery Site Redevelopment Brief
The site redevelopment brief was prepared for public engagement and consultation as local planning advice in order to establish site specific planning parameters for the redevelopment of the site with an acceptable use and forms of development. The draft brief was approved for public consultation by Aberdeen City Council with the public consultation period from 28 October to 24 November 2016 and was approved as at the Communities Housing and Infrastructure Committee of 24 January 2017:

OP63 Prime Four Development Framework
The draft Site OP63, Prime Four Business Park Development Framework was approved as Interim Planning Advice at the Communities, Housing and Infrastructure Committee on 25 August 2016. This status will remain until the emerging Local Development Plan is adopted at which time the document should be ratified alongside the other Supplementary Guidance documents by the Scottish Government:
Nigg Bay Development Framework and Environmental Report (Strategic Environmental Assessment)
The results of the public consultation, including any necessary revisions to the Draft Framework and Environmental Report, were reported to the Communities, Housing and Infrastructure Committee on the 20 January 2016.

Aberdeen City Council also works closely with Architecture and Design Scotland and their Design Review Panel when developing and approving new Masterplan documents and invites them to comment on Masterplanning proposals. The following link provides further information on the process:
In order to raise awareness of design in the North East, a Design Review Panel has been set up. The panel is a joint venture between Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council.
