Housing Land Audit

Housing Land Audit 2024

The housing land audit gives details of the location, characteristics, and status of sites which make up the housing land supply in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. It is used to determine if there is sufficient land available for housing development and also to inform the planning of future infrastructure such as roads, schools and drainage.

The audit is undertaken jointly by Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council in consultation with a wide range of stakeholders. It has a base date of 1 April 2024 and lists sites with a capacity for four or more units which are allocated for housing in the Local Development Plan or have planning consent for housing development. Spatial data of the Housing Land Audit 2024 can be found here.
