Do you have a passion for film and media? Are you into arts and culture? Are you looking to get film making, build your CV or simply do something new? Then look no further and volunteer as part of Aberdeen City libraries' exciting creative Reel Futures film project!

The Reel Futures project team have a number of opportunities for young people aged 16-25 on our upcoming filming days in Summer 2018. No experience required – just an enthusiasm to learn new skills and a commitment to attend the filming days you sign up for. Interested?

The Reel Futures film project team are looking for production assistants in a range of roles to help complete a series of short films in and around Aberdeen during Summer 2018. You could try out operating a camera, or being a sound recordist, editor or even being the director! Reel Futures helps young people try out new skills while producing films shot locally in and around the city. 

Where appropriate eligible participants can gain recognition for their participation via recognised award schemes such as Saltire Awards or the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
