Aberdeen Reads Challenges

There will be 8 reading related challenges to complete this Summer as part of Aberdeen Reads. Challenges can be completed in any order.

Pick up or download a Challenge Card and get it stamped at your nearest library when you complete a challenge.

Incentives are available for readers aged 4-15 years, earning a little something when they log 1, 4 and 8 challenges or books.

Draw a picture of a sunken shipwreck and drop it into the library!

Saturday, 5 July

Join Library Bear's adventures and read a book which features a fictional island. 
 

Could you be on the Isle of Struay with Katie Morag, or are you going to face dragons on Berk with Hiccup?
Have a chat with our library staff when you next visit the library....they will love to hear all of your stories.

Saturday, 12 July

We're mixing things up a little this week and challenging you to read some non-fiction to learn about sea creatures and/or birds.

You could be learning about sea turtles or seagulls....or you could be finding out more about the legendary Kracken.
