MAKE Aberdeen: Digital Fabrication Studio
MAKE Aberdeen digital fabrication studio, run by Robert Gordon University is the first of its kind in the North East. It hosts a wide range of digital fabrication tools, offering people low cost access to equipment and knowledge to advance what they make.
MAKE Aberdeen joins a global network of 'fablabs' in bringing people into a vibrant community of professionals, amateurs and enthusiasts in technology, design, engineering, coding and many other disciplines. MAKE Aberdeen will help many types of new business by reducing the cost of small-scale prototyping and manufacturing. Equipment and materials are there for members to use at a very low cost, with the team on hand to help.
