Aberdeen has a number of street markets and an Indoor Market in the heart of the city centre.
The Belmont Street Farmers Market features around 20 producers selling mainly, but not solely, food and crafts from the North East of Scotland. The market is held on the last Saturday of every month from 9am to 3pm.
Thistle Street Market is a farmers market focused on locally produced food. It takes place on the second Saturday of every month (except January) from 10am to 3pm.
For more information about these markets please see their Facebook pages or email Innes Walker at InnWalker@aberdeencity.gov.uk.
The Indoor Market has around 500 square metres of stalls, and is located just off Union Street. The main entrance is on Market Street with a smaller access on Union Street. It has a wide range of businesses open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm, selling a wide range of products from health and beauty and household items to fresh meat and fish.
