The Aberdeen Highland Games will return this Summer at Hazlehead Park on Sunday 18 June 2023!
A highlight on the Aberdeen summer calendar, it promises to be a day full of fun for all the family; from traditional Highland Games events, quality trade and charity stalls, stage entertainment from professional performers as well as local community groups and a range of activities that can be enjoyed by all ages.
Outdoor catering will be available from our Street food area and we also have catering units serving a range of hot food including fish and chips, burgers, and traditional Scottish delicacies as well as sweet treats and ice cream. A public bar with a beer garden will also be available (over 18 only) - please note that no drinking of alcohol is permitted outside of the licenced bar area.
Aberdeen's Highland Games attracts between 8,000 and 15,000 people annually.
Aberdeen Highland Games is a member of the RSHGA and Grampian Highland Games Association.

Bancon Homes Charity Mascot Challenge
Returning again, the Bancon Homes Charity Mascot Challenge promises lots of fun and laughs as the mascots compete against each other to be crowned the champion and take home some cash for their nominated charity.
Competition Entry and Information
Entries for competitions are available below. All competitors in the Heavies and Lights events are required to have registered with the RSHGA and have a competitors number.
Trade and Charity Stalls
The Highland Games is a popular and well attended event by many trade and charity stalls. A list of those attending is available to view now.
Carers
Carers and essential companions can gain free entry to the Highland Games to accompany an attending person who has bought a ticket. Proof of being a carer for that person should be brought on the day and be ready to show this on presentation of tickets.
To get your ticket, please enter 'carer23' as the Promo Code on Eventbrite and select 'Essential Companion'.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a short lead and that they are able to cope with large crowds. Owners must not allow their dogs to defecate in high traffic areas and must remove the waste immediately and placed in a dog waste bin situated at the dog zone. The event has also a dog zone where activities are being provided, as well as water for animals. Dogs must not be left unattended in the event or in a vehicle in the event car park.
