The application fee is the amount that you need to pay. Each fee is broken down into two parts:
- Part 1 is the cost of determining an HMO licence application.
- Part 2 is the cost of carrying out inspections of the HMO premises over the 3-year lifetime of the licence.
If a refund of HMO Fees is requested, the amount of any refund will depend on the stage to which the application has been processed prior to withdrawal.
New applications
This fee applies if you have never held an HMO licence, or if your existing HMO licence has already expired and you are applying for a new licence.

Renewals
This fee applies if you are submitting an application to renew your HMO Licence before your existing licence expires.
