The requirement for a Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy was introduced by the Scottish Government to drive forward heat decarbonisation and increase energy efficiency with in the buildings of Aberdeen City.
Aberdeen’s Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES) is an important strategic plan for the city. It will help the city to meet its net zero target whilst also improving the thermal comfort and health and wellbeing of residents, helping to alleviate fuel poverty, and offering new economic opportunities in the city.
