Report on this consultation:
Aberdeen City Council is proposing to:
Remove Dual Zoning of Former Victoria Road School Zone and Define Tullos and Walker Road Schools' Zones.
The Policy and Strategy (Education) Committee took the decision on 29 April 2008 to close the Victoria Road School and make its in-zone area a dual zone for Tullos School and Walker Road School. This meant that residents of the area could choose to send their children to either school. This decision was aided with the fact that both Tullos School and Walker Road School are in the Torry Academy Associated School Group (ASG). This proposal seeks to remove the dual zone element and define the zones for Tullos School and Walker Road School.
A period of statutory consultation commences on 6 May 2014 and ends on 18 June 2014. (31 School Days)
A public consultation meeting will be held on:
Monday 19 May 2014 from 7.00 to 8.30pm at Torry Academy.
Other requests from relevant partner organisations will be considered by officers as appropriate.
