The Hall of Remembrance is situated off Kaimhill Road in the Garthdee area of the city.
Surrounding the hall is a garden of remembrance where cremated ashes may be scattered.
A book of remembrance is displayed just inside the entrance to the hall of remembrance and a there is wheelchair ramp so that disabled visitors can access the book easily. You can view the book of remembrance between 9am and 4pm Monday to Saturday and between 11am and 3pm on Sundays and public holidays.
The book has a separate page for each day of the year and the pages are turned each day so that entries are always visible on the anniversary of the date of death. The office staff can help if you would like to view any other pages of the book.
The book of remembrance can now be viewed online:
There is also a book of remembrance at Aberdeen Crematorium.
