About the Accord Card

The Accord Card is Aberdeen City Council's smartcard (also known as a National Entitlement Card – or NEC). It is a multifunctional card that lets you access a wide range of services. Your Accord Card can be your bus pass, library card,  proof of age card, and is provided to you free of charge. 

The Accord Card can be used to provide: 

You can apply for or replace your NEC online, update your photograph or request a replacement card. If you've changed address or lost your card you can also do that online.

‘GetYourNec’ provides an easy way to apply for or replace your card online. This is a service run by the Scottish Government’s Improvement Service, who work on behalf of all Scottish Councils. You can learn more about it on the Apply for Card and Find Out More pages on this website.
