Counterfeit goods

Counterfeit goods are illegal copies of brand name products. Items commonly counterfeited range from designer clothes, handbags, and cosmetics, to electricals, cigarettes, and toys. Trading Standards take enforcement action to stop the sale of these goods to protect both genuine manufacturers and retailers, and also the public from goods which are usually of poor quality and can be dangerous.
