Public Involvement & Engagement Drop-in Sessions

Members of the public, Aberdeen City Council staff, healthcare professionals and researchers are welcome to drop by Rosemount Community Centre on the 1st Wednesday of every month between 10am and 12pm to find out more about public involvement in research, the support offered by the NIHR Health Determinants Research Collaboration Aberdeen and what's happening locally. It's an excellent opportunity to network and be more connected to the latest research happening in Aberdeen. Dates for your diary are:

HDRC Aberdeen PhD Studentships

As part of the package of support offered to Aberdeen City Council and the NIHR Health Determinants Research Collaboration Aberdeen, the University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University have offered to fund PhD studentships to add further capacity. Details of these opportunities can be found in our Training & Development section along with email contact information for the Primary Supervisor who will be able to answer questions you might have about the awards.

Please note: 3 of the 4 available funding awards have now been allocated. The PhD project on Reducing the population impact of hip fractures in Aberdeen will be going back up for advertising shortly. Please check back or follow our social media pages to be kept up to date with this fantastic opportunity.
