Continuing from a successful Evening Talk Series last year we're excited to bring to you another Talk Series for 2019 which explores the relationship and themes between transport and people. Presentations will explore how organisations work together to bring transport improvements, health and active travel connections, current infrastructure improvements and plans as well as the role of big data. We would love to see you join us for another interesting series!
This series of evening talks has been organised and funded through the EU funded project ‘Civitas PORTIS’ which has the purpose of designing, demonstrating and evaluating sets of sustainable transport measures that address the mobility problems of port cities across Europe. Aberdeen is a Living Lab in the PORTIS project and local partners include Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council, Nestrans, Aberdeen Harbour Board, Robert Gordon University and University of Aberdeen.
All talks will take place at the Sir Duncan Rice Library at the University of Aberdeen and the event will begin at 5.30pm with approximate finish time of 7.30pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
