Small Business, Big Heart: Bringing Communities Together

FSB Connect Aberdeen have partnered with Aberdeen Central Library to offer you great networking opportunities for 2019. These events will take place monthly in Aberdeen Central Library and we will hear from a different guest speaker every time.

During this event, we’ll hear from businesses in and around Aberdeen who have played a part in bringing communities together and also from Aberdeen City Council’s Community Justice team who will take us through why employers should consider providing opportunities for people who have a criminal record.

Their project-‘My Way To Employment’ builds links with organisations which are willing to be involved in the pathway for individuals; as potential employers or placement providers, while at the same time supporting individuals on community sentences or who have been in prison to progress along the ‘Employability Pipeline’ towards employment. Come along and hear from those involved.

Tea/Coffee and refreshments will be available.

For general enquiries regarding the event please contact Operational Support Coordinator Gregory.Spencer@fsb.org.uk or LibraryEvents@aberdeencity.gov.uk
