The Union Street Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS) training courses have been designed around the specific needs of traditional buildings in Aberdeen, addressing real issues and problems faced by building contractors, professionals and homeowners on a daily basis.
Led by Frew Conservation we have brought together a multi-disciplinary team of experienced and respected craftspeople and consultants to deliver this series of workshops and seminars.

The principal tutor for this seminar is Nicholas Heath, a Certified Passivhaus Consultant and Retrofit Coordinator, Director of NDM Heath Ltd. and Associate Director of the Sustainable Traditional Buildings Alliance (STBA).
The full-day workshops are aimed at building contractors and professionals but may also be of interest to homeowners with some background knowledge or understanding of traditional buildings.
These courses are fully-funded through Union Street CARS. Lunch and refreshments are provided. Places are limited and must be booked in advance.
Courses are recognised by the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) for CPD (see www.ihbc.org.uk). Attendance certificates will be provided at the end of each course.
