Details

Our aim is to celebrate the vibrant cultural diversity that makes our city unique while promoting greater understanding and awareness of different cultures in the North East of Scotland. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring an exciting program that includes live music, various artists' performances, food stalls serving mouth-watering street food, and interactive workshops designed to help visitors engage with different cultures. Past events were a huge success, with our 2022 Mela festival in Aberdeen attracting over 13,000 attendees to Westburn Park. This year, we hope to surpass that number and reach over 15,000 attendees with more catering and craft stalls and an even more diverse range of performers.
