Immobile Choreography – Publication Launch and Talk

A publication to accompany the exhibitions Immobile Choreography by Beverley Hood and From Where Do We See? curated by Dr Silvia Casini, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, will be launched as part of the University of Aberdeen’s MayFest programme. Both exhibitions celebrate 40 years of MRI development in Aberdeen, bridging two moments in the history of MRI innovation at the University of Aberdeen.

May Fest Director's Cut: Making Movies with Jon S. Baird

The director of one of the most acclaimed movies of 2018, Stan & Ollie, is University of Aberdeen graduate Jon S. Baird. In this special May Fest edition of the Director’s Cut series, Jon will discuss how growing up in Aberdeenshire contributed to the kinds of stories he became interested in developing as feature films, including his earlier works Cass (2008) and Filth (2014). Jon S. Baird will be interviewed by Professor Alan Marcus.
