Open Day at Grampian Autistic Society

Grampian Autistic Society (GAS) organises an Open Day at Carnie Drive to celebrate World Autism Week 1-7 April

An Open Day ‘’Increasing Autism Awareness’’ will take place on Monday 1 April 11am to 3pm at the charity’s premises in 35, Carnie Drive, Aberdeen AB25 3AN

Autism is a lifelong condition that affects how people communicate and interact with others.
Awareness of this condition is important. It is estimated that 1 in every 100 people in the UK is autistic, but with the right support, many autistic people live fulfilled and active lives.

Introduction to Meditation

This introductory course over four evenings: 1, 8, 22, 29 April and shares basic Raja Yoga philosophy which helps to settle our thoughts so that we can then become focused and peaceful.

Taught in a light, informal way, no special clothing is required, no hard mats, and no difficult positions or chants to learn!
