Dandara 5k 2018

Join us for the eagerly anticipated Dandara 5k and family fun day which will return on Saturday 29 September at Hazlehead Park.

Runners can now register for the swashbuckling athletic event, with spaces available in the 5k, 2k and 1k children’s races, and the 600m fun run.

Organisers, Dandara and Friends of Hazlehead aim to build on the thousands of pounds already raised in aid of the Friends of Hazlehead since the inaugural races were held in 2014.

The Human Museum: Free Tour of Aberdeen's West End

Truth is stranger than fiction on this tour! You'll find out about some of the city's most interesting citizens while exploring the stately West End of Aberdeen.

On Scot Free Tours' West End wander around some of the most beautiful architecture in the city, we regal you with stories of a determined Duchess, a safe-cracker, a polar explorer, an opera diva and many more.

Peterhead Seafood Festival

Peterhead Seafood Festival is being organised by the town’s business improvement district, Rediscover Peterhead, and will showcase the stunning seafood landed at Peterhead’s fish market and available in local shops and eateries. The festival will celebrate the heritage and will see local businesses showcasing their produce in a community market in the heart of the town centre, with stalls and activities for all to enjoy.

Over an hour and 45 minutes, your costumed guide will bring to life tales from the most sordid chapter of Aberdeen's past. And, by the end, you will truly be able to say whether crime pays.
