Braemar Highland Fling

A cross between a Highland Games and a Country Fair, you’ll be able to brush up your dancing and learn some new steps with the local Castleton Dancers.

Or, try some sword fighting with a real live Jacobite and get all wound up in a “proper” plaid kilt. Bring your dog along and compete for the coveted best dressed dog and owner! Dusty, the black Wenselydale sheep with personality, will be sheared (twice! one side at different times!) in the traditional way on the day. Rescued owls and raptors from 2Wit2Woo at Huntly will also be on show.
