“My practice is based upon mankind’s relationship with the landscape.

Geology Rocks!

Explore the world underneath our feet. We will delve deep into the earth with exciting hands-on workshops, activities and storytelling. Make your own volcanoes, travel back in time with fossils and use microscopes to peer into the hidden world of minerals.

Old news, gateway to new knowledge

Do you want to learn more about your family or your local history? Join the library's Local Studies team at these free workshops, specially designed to meet your needs!

Examine the best methods of exploring historic newspapers, an invaluable resource for learning about past lives and events.

Workshops last for approximately 90 minutes with additional time for practice. Previous knowledge of using computers is not required.

Practical Philosophy

Who am I ? Why am I who I am? Where am I going? We discuss every day philosophy and you can ask any questions on your mind. We discuss: challenges, success, belonging, opportunities, confidence and much more. Open to all - and not religious - run by the Rich Minds organisation.
