Multi Agency Training

*This training is for professionals working in Aberdeen City (Scotland)*

During this multi agency training session we will discuss the main social media apps being used by children and young people across Aberdeen City. These will be broken down, and the main safety concerns explored at length. We will then move on to discuss online harms including sexting, cyberbullying and accessing pornographic websites from a young age. We then break out into groups to discuss safety tips we can pass onto families to help keep children safe online and complete a fake case example of a young girl who's phone use is becoming a concern.

The aims of this training are:

• To increase professionals awareness of social media and the online behaviours of children and young people.
• To increase professionals confidence in supporting families to promote better internet safety.
• To increase professionals confidence in dealing with child protection issues relating to social media.
