Lunchbreak Concert: Corten Quintet

Come and chase away the winter blues on a whirlwind tour with Corten Quintet as they visit France, Latin America, and Austria before landing home with Malcolm Arnold’s  Shanties for Wind Quintet. The concert also includes works by Strauss, Debussy Poulenc and Ibert.

The members of the Corten Quintet all live in the north-east of Scotland, meeting to rehearse in Margaret’s home, where they are always joined by her dog, Corten, from whom their name is derived! The group enjoys exploring quintet music and performing in a variety of venues.
