Aberdeen Art Gallery is one of the city's most inspiring, accessible and welcoming public buildings, there for all to enjoy, for generations to come.
The redevelopment project, completed in 2019, has transformed the Art Gallery, Cowdray Hall and Remembrance Hall into a major cultural attraction in the heart of the city.
• We have invested in the fabric of the Grade-A listed buildings and created an architecturally exciting visitor destination which blends the historic with the contemporary.
• More display space means that more of the city's exceptional art collection will be on display in a series of themed galleries, with a fresh approach to interpretation
• We have dramatically improved visitor access, orientation and facilities and created a new Learning Space and a rooftop café.
• Visitors of all ages will enjoy our enhanced programme of exhibitions and events.

Aberdeen Art Gallery was founded in 1885, largely thanks to the civic mindedness and generosity of our first Patrons. Today, you can follow in their footsteps and be part of this exciting new chapter in the Art Gallery's story by supporting our fundraising appeal.
