Sport Aberdeen Board Opportunities
SPORT ABERDEEN LIMITED has recently taken responsibility for delivering the core sport, physical recreation and sports development provision across the city. It has a wide range of leisure and sports facilities and activity programmes for all ages, interest groups and levels of participation.
Sport Aberdeen, in partnership with Aberdeen City Council, wishes to recruit a number of Directors to capitalise on the work of the founding Board Members. Experience of managing a sports or leisure organisation is desirable, although not essential. What is needed is vision and enthusiasm to ensure that Sport Aberdeen can grow, developing greater opportunities for participation in sporting activities by everyone in the city, resident and visitors.
Sport Aberdeen is a registered charity. The time commitment is likely to be 10 to 12 days annually. The positions are unpaid.
