Exclusive Friends' Event: Behind the Scenes with our Collections: Bookbinding Workshop & Talk

Come to the Special Collections Centre for an evening of bookbinding. Learn practical skills from our Book Conservator, Brannah Mackenzie and make your own mini-notebook in the Glucksman Conservation Centre. Then discover the bindings of the wonderful rare books in the Special Collections with expert guidance from our Rare Books Cataloguer, Jane Pirie.

This event is free and open to all, although booking is required; please email to book your space.

Refreshments will be provided.

Please note: This event has a maximum number of 14 participants, and we expect this session will be fully booked in advance of the event.
If for any reason you are no longer available to attend this event, please let us know in advance; so that we may offer the space up to other interested individuals.
If this session becomes fully booked there is an alternative session available as part of Book Week Scotland on the evening of the 27th of November.
