The folklore and the history of that piece of Scotland known variously as Aberdeenshire or the North East of Scotland makes for interesting reading. Join us at this free event to listen to the stories of old, that still hold a fascination for the curious.

The A-Z of Curious Aberdeenshire is a collection of tales intended to both satisfy the casual reader and act as a primer for those, both tourists and locals, who yearn to learn more about the people, the folklore and the events which shaped this exciting part of Scotland.

Although not born and bred in Aberdeenshire, Duncan Harley considers the county his adoptive home. After various spells of self-employment he worked for a time at a well known street newspaper before eventually turning to free-lance writing. Feature writing now takes up much of his time alongside the penning of both theatrical and literary reviews.

The event will be followed by a Q&A session.
