Rosemary Goring in Conversation with Alan Taylor

On 04 Feb 2017

Delve into Scotland's past with two of the country's most acclaimed journalists and writers and explore what happens when history and fiction collide at this unique event in the Central Library.

Journalist and literary editor Rosemary Goring joins us to celebrate the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology in Aberdeen City Libraries. Rosemary will discuss her novels Dacre's War and After Flodden with husband and editor of the Scottish Review of Books, Alan Taylor.

Set in the 16th Century, in the years after one of Scotland's bloodiest battles, the characters in Rosemary's enthralling books live in a thrilling but dangerous time of vengeance, warfare and political intrigue.
