Business Waste and Recycling
Do you process, prepare, distribute or sell food?
From 1 January 2016 all non-domestic food premises, big or small, must separate food waste for recycling if they produce more than 5kg food waste per week. 5kg is roughly enough to fill a 10L container per week.
How can we help you comply with the regulations?
Aberdeen City Council's Business Waste and Recycling Team have options available for collecting food waste separately whether you produce small amounts of food waste or larger quantities. Contact us to find out how we can help you comply.
